Christmas 2008

We had a great Christmas this year. We love to be together with the family and remember the love our Savior had for each of us. This was the first year Dax actually knew what was going on and who gets to come visit on Christmas Eve. He got very excited to have Santa come. Here are a few pictures of what Dax received for Christmas and yet again he was spoiled!!

This is Christmas Eve after the kids open their PJ's from grandma and grandpa.

Daxton and his Sock
All of Daxton's presents from Santa
I believe this was Dax's favorite gift. Grandma Julie loved the colors and didn't know that the lions are 0-12.

Dax and Marki

We decided to take pictures of the cousins in matching sweater for Christmas, they turned out really cute so I decided to post them. I love how much our kids love each other.

Daxton's Surgery

Daxton had to have his tonsils out and tubes in on the 10th of December. I was told this would be the worst two weeks of my life and indeed it was. It started with the doctor taking him away with out him being asleep and him screaming "mommy mommy" if that doesn't tear your heart out nothing will. I kissed him and then burst into tears. It was the worst thing I have ever had to deal with until he came out of surgery and then it just go worse. I meet him in the recovery room and he was just screaming, I picked him up he put his head on my shoulder and fell back to sleep. Then we got to go home. It was so sad to see him in pain and hurting. The one food in this world that he loves he couldn't have for TWO WEEKS, yes TWO WEEKS and that was chips. Chris had to hide all the chips and boy was he mad. Well the two weeks are over and he is going much better, I think we are on the mend. Here are some pictures of him in the hospital. I didn't get a picture of his bed due to he was never in it.

He has no clue what is about to happen to himHe just had a pill to make him tired I was afraid he was going to fall out of the wagon.
This was before the surgery can you imagine the face after?

Thanksgiving

This year we had Thanksgiving with Chris' family. We love to hang out with the fam. We are really grateful for Joey and his family, we love to be with them and enjoy the time we spend with them. Dax doesn't like his picture taken lately so I got what I could.

Brinlee, Megan and Emery. We love you all!
Nic and Emery

After we spent the day with Chris' family we went to my parents to drop off Dax so that Lisa and I could go shopping at 5:00 in the morning. We had a great time shopping. It is funny that Lisa's kids want to have their picture taken with me and my own son fights me. I did what I could to get some Thanksgiving pictures.
Annie and MeAll 4 kids eating an Ice Cream The only picture I could get of Daxton Brady and KatieThe 4 cutest kids!!!

Bad Mom

I have decided that I am a bad mom. I was thinking I have not blogged anything for some time now, so I thought I would get my camera out and post something. I got the camera and realized I didn't have anything exciting to blog about and not many pictures to choose from so her are some random pictures that I thought I would put on just so you have something new to look at.
Marki loves to have her picture taken so her and Dax posed for me.
We went to the Christmas show at the Expo Center a while ago and Dax found his Christmas gift I guess Santa better be pretty nice this year!!!

Dax is very lucky...

To have two uncles who love him very much and also love their country so much that they have giving up their time and energy to serve in the Mlitary. Tom has been in the Military for 10 years and has had the opportunity to visit many different places and serve his country and has gone over sea's a few times. Tom works really hard as a navigator in the Air force, in fact he is up for Navigator of the year, we wish him luck with that.
We don't get to have Tom around much, but love when he comes home to visit.
Dax's other uncle Anthony has given up four years of his life to join the Army, he has been over in Iraq for the last year and surprised us this last week and got to come home on leave. We were all really excited to see Anthony, he has to leave on Sunday to go back Iraq until the middle of March. We miss him very much also.
We are so Proud of our brothers and our Uncle and the sacrifices they make everyday to keep us safe so we can live in a free country. We will always pray for them and their safety while they are gone. We miss both of them so very much, but really appreciate what they are doing for all of us as citizens of the United States.
Thanks you both and we love you so much Tom, Brady, and Dax!

Anthony and Dax!

Finally Halloween

I know I am a little late in posting my Halloween pictures but you know what they say... better late then never. So here they are. Uncle Tom gave Dax a pilot suit for Christmas last year so we decided to have him be a pilot. I think he was a pretty cute one. I had to dress up for work so I found a leopard outfit and called it good. Marki was a very cute pirate, this was the only picture she would let us take.
Annie and her friends came over to show us how cute they were. I love how excited that kids get on Halloween.

I just thought this one was way to cute to not post!
